Article 7-2 (Publishing the name of your organization)
What we publish. We may publish, on our website and in marketing materials, the name of an organization whose people use the Service. The organization name comes from the company field in your profile or from the domain of the email address you registered with.
What we never publish alongside it. We do not publish your name, job title, email address, photograph, profile link, or any other detail that would identify you as an individual. Only the organization name appears.
Why we may do this. We rely on our legitimate interest in describing who uses the Service. Where local law requires consent instead, we ask for it before publishing.
Objecting and removal. You may object at any time, for any reason or none. Clear the company field in your profile, or write to us through the contact page, and we will stop. An authorized representative of a named organization may also request removal on the organization's behalf. We act on removal requests within 10 business days.
Article 8 (Analytics, advertising and cookies)
What we use. Our website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, how visitors arrive, approximate location from the IP address, device and browser) and Google Ads to measure whether our ads lead to visits and purchases, including the value of a completed order. Both are provided by Google and set cookies or similar identifiers on your device.
Your choice. If you visit from Europe, these tools stay switched off (Google receives only cookieless signals without identifiers) until you choose Accept in our cookie banner. Everywhere else they are on by default and you can switch them off at any time. You can change your choice whenever you like from , which is also linked in the site footer. Your choice is stored in your browser.
Other ways to opt out. You can install the Google Analytics opt out browser add on, manage ad personalization in Google My Ad Center, or block cookies in your browser settings. How Google uses this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Our own statistics. Separately, we count profile views, card taps and link clicks on our own servers so account holders can see how their profile is used. These counts stay on our servers and are not shared with advertisers.
Article 8-2 (Payments, service providers and transfers outside Japan)
Payments. Card payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details into a form provided by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number. We receive the payment result and the amount. Prices and charges are in US dollars. When tax applies, we send Stripe your shipping address so it can calculate the tax for your country. See Stripe's privacy policy.
Other providers. To run the Service we also share the information each task needs with: Heroku (hosting of our website and database); Cloudinary (storage of the photos, logos and banners you upload); Google, LINE and LinkedIn (sign in, when you choose them); Ship&Co, Japan Post and Yamato Transport (your name, address, phone and email, to create shipping labels and deliver your card); Google (sending our emails); OpenAI (to tidy a Japanese shipping address when the carrier rejects it, and to help us draft emails about your order); and Telegram (internal notifications to our team about new orders, sign ups and messages).
Transfers outside Japan. Several of these providers (including Stripe, Google, Heroku, Cloudinary and OpenAI) store or process data in the United States. The United States has no federal law equivalent to Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information; privacy is protected by state and sector specific laws, and each provider publishes the terms under which it handles personal data. For an overview of foreign privacy systems, see the reports published by Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission.
Article 9 (Google Limited Use)
Where we obtain user data through Google APIs or related Google services, we handle that data in compliance with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Article 10 (LINE User Data Policy)
When you sign in with LINE, we obtain data through LINE Login and the LINE Platform — including your LINE profile (display name, profile image, and user identifier) and, where you grant permission, your email address. We request your email address only after you consent on LINE's permission screen, and we use it solely to create and authenticate your account, recognize you on return, prevent duplicate accounts, and send essential service communications as described in Article 4. We handle all LINE user data in compliance with the LINE User Data Policy. We do not sell LINE user data, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to providing the Service.
Article 11 (Your rights)
You may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or restriction of processing of your personal information as permitted by applicable law. We will respond in accordance with the law.
Deleting your account. To delete your account and profile, including the photos, logos and banners you uploaded, email us at carlos@intdesign.jp or write through the contact page, from the email address on your account if you can. We confirm the request comes from you and then delete without delay, except records the law requires us to keep, such as order and payment records.
Article 11-2 (Age)
The Service is for people aged 16 and over. Everyone who creates an account confirms that they are 16 or older. If we learn that we hold personal information about someone under 16, we will delete it.
Article 12 (External sites)
We are not responsible for information or services on third-party sites reached via links or banners on the Service.
Article 13 (Changes to this Policy)
We may update this Policy. For material changes, we will post notice on our website or contact you directly where required.
